"Turning Over a New Leaf"
I think that it is always important to stop and think about how what you do affects others. For this reason I decided at the start of 2014 to do what I like to call " turning over a new leaf." There are three main principles I try to make sure I follow:
1. Be nice - It is both what you say, and how you say it that counts. You never know what someone else's struggle may be ......so why not put just a little more effort in to being considerate and polite.
2. Be patient- Life is not about a to-do-list! Being a working wife and mother, I often find myself ripping and running all over the place for everyone else. I have come to realize that if it doesn't get done....it's ok. Life is a marathon not a sprint. You can't plan, pack, organize and prevent everything. Just go with the flow! It will work wonders for your health, hair and waistline.
3. Be present- putting family and friends on the back burner to work excessively is ridiculous. Live for the right now not the right after I finish___________.
I have found that by following these three principles coupled with a new found practice of prayer, my life is more simplistic yet fulfilled. Life is fun and filled with a plethora of experiences how will you enjoy yours?
Simplistically yours,
Frugalopoly
